For anyone who has been following my little drama, let me add another twist…

I received an email yesterday that pretty much puts the icing on the cake for my staying home and working Freelance.

The email goes a little something like this… [I have changed names for obvious reasons]

“I have been advised today, by BIG-BOX-DIY, that our COMPANY, and OUR SISTER COMPANY’S routine service contracts, along with contracts of other Service Providers at BIG-BOX-DIY, will be terminated on Friday, February 1^st 2008. This unfortunate and unexpected decision is no reflection on the hard work and dedication that all of you have demonstrated in your time with our company, and for that I thank all of you. BIG-BOX-DIY has asked that we honor our contract through the end of January 2008, and we have advised that we will do our best to do so. It is therefore our intent that we operate, business as usual, until that date”

So, if you know anyone who needs a website or is looking for some hosting etc…

Well lets see…

I asked (actually screamed) in my last Big Box Blog post for some news…

I got it today for sure. Starting on August 13th, I will be reporting to a new District Manager.

So we had call-ins yesterday and still no news. Why did he have to tell me about the changes if he was not going to keep me up to date? I need to know what is going to happen and how it will affect my job.

I drive 500 + miles a week. I like my stores (for the most part) but hate the out of pocket expense just to get to them.

I used to get around 125.00 every two weeks, not much but it helped, now I get zero, zip, zilch nada, bupkus, I could continue but why….

I digress…

There are meetings going on starting tomorrow till Friday.  There had better be some information come next Monday!
