CE Fall Retreat

This weekend we had our annual Cristian Endeavor Fall Retreat in Doddridge county.
It started out the same as past years. We got there later than the others, but we had the largest group.
I am the state President, so they won’t start without me.
Kim, Jerry, and I lead music this weekend so we had to set up the sound system etc.
The rain kept us from having our normal campfire, so we had our vespers inside. Shortly after I went to bed.
I woke up around 6:30 and went to help cook breakfast.
During breakfast we had our executive meeting.
After breafast, we led another song and James led devotions.
We had our Prayer Walk. I led a station that prayed for the growth of the individual churches involved in CE. I used Hebrews 10:25
- Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching. -
We then had class. During the Adult / Teen class, we had a QA session with some fols from Nazareth Farm.
Town hall started with 4 more songs led by Kim, Jerry, and myself; then a game led by James.
Lunch – Talent Show – then a celebration of God allowing Martha and Tracey 35 years of consecutive attendance.
Free time for some; prep time of others…
Dinner was delicious as usual which also included cake and ice cream.
Our evening service consisted of 4 more songs, an inspiring message from Craig Kellar, and our usual friendship circle.
What a Jam Packed 22 hours!!!
