How’s that for a title eh?
Today was the first day in my new position. I would like to say it was a piece of cake after the three weeks of training I received from the previous person to hold the position. I almost could if it were not for one small problem.
500 friggin people took the Early Retirement Option. 500!
That turned the report I process on Monday from a mole hill to the friggin Hymalayas!
Not to mention that today was also the first day of the month and there are like a bagillion other reports that needed ran today… sure I’ll get right on them too… LOL.
It really is not bad considering. I will get caught up easily enough, it just was not my idea of the ultimate first day.
Atleast I am still in the same department with the same folks, and for now, in the same cube
