Well I ruined my streak.

I had quite a run going. I was dropping 300 cards a day consistantly for a while there, then life got in the way.

On Monday, I dropped 11 cards in the morning before going to work. I figured I would drop some at lunch and then do the rest when I got home. Well since I did not get home until nearly 9:30 pm, I did not get back to the PC to do any dropping.

I was late getting home from work due to the purchase of a new vehicle.

My car of 3 plus years was not performing up to standard so the wife and I did some car shopping. We looked online for a few days comparing and sorting our ideas of what we wanted to get. I get a decent discount from U.S. Steel, if we can find a car we like in the list of makers they have deals with. We narrowed our choice to a Toyota Matrix, a Toyota RAV4, or a Nissan Versa.

We were already to go get one of them Saturday, when we realized that my discount did not cover Toyota. The decision was made that we would talk to the dealer and see if we could talk them into the same type of deal. The little Mrs. and I went in and sat down with the same salesman who had sold us our current vehicle. He was just as nice as we remembered. We told him what we wanted, asked if he could get us the same type of discount since the place did also sells Nissan [one of the manufacturers that offered the discount.] Sadly it was not possible on a Toyota. We looked around a bit and finally settled on one of these.

Tuesday I went to work, came home, voted (and lost), ate dinner, took the boys for a ride since they did not get to go with us to buy the car, stopped and showed some family the car, came back home, laid down on the couch at 8pm, slept till midnight, went to bed, got up at 5:00am, felt like total crap, called off, went back to bed and slept until 10am.

I think I will go eat and go back to bed!
