So after a weekend of pulling teeth to get any drops there is more trouble.
I woke up early this am in hopes to get some dropping done before work. I read a blog post by an admin who asked how we do our drops and saw so many EntreCarders openly stating they open multiple windows; some with images off and some with them still on.
Most read atleast the first post – so they say – so I expect to have a comment or two as proof

Of course, I do not expect anything until after 7 am Boston time. Why? because without any warning (atleast I did not get an email…) just as I am dropping nice and smoothly, I get the following:
Outage for a maximum of 2 hours until 7AM Boston time while we try and deal more conclusively to performance issues we are experiencing during high-load times. We apologize once again and hope this outage will be the last we need for some time.
