Not a typical day at Joby’s house today

Well I should actually start from yesterday…

I as I entered the Pittsburgh side of the Fort Pitt Tunnel I was cut off by a rather idiotic driver. When we exited the tunnel the car I had been following was about 30 car lengths in front of me. All that open space made me angry.  Once the cut-me-off car got out of my way I proceeded to put the pedal down to get up to highway speed. My foot went down, the RPM’s went up and the car went nowhere fast.

The car kept its speed, but just would not accelerate.

When I got home, I tried some recommendations I was given from a mechanic friend of mine. All seemed ok.

I got up to drive to work this morning and could not go any faster than 45 with the pedal to the floor.

Now my car is at the auto garage awaiting its turn to be discected, and I am sitting here with my work laptop open to my left and my personal desktop humming to my right.

My 4 year old sees me home and thinks “I can play with Daddy today!”
My boss says “You have the laptop, VPN in and work from home today!”
My colleague says “Blog about your hero today!”

What a day, what a day.
