After performing this song numerous times with our Praise Team and our Youth Group, I was pleasantly surprised to hear the final words of American Idol host Ryan Seacrest last night.

When he announced the Idol contestants would be singing “Shout to the Lord” I thought, nah.. I heard that wrong. Happily I did not.

Watch the video, if you did not see it last night, listen to the words. Keep in mind that the producers etc… decided it best to take out the name of Jesus from the song, but the message is there and although I don’t agree with there decision, I am not suprised…
