I have been working on another blog. It is for humor etc… but the best part is most of the content is RSS fed. We shall see how it works.

If you know of and RSS feeds that would fit into the mold of Hippolaxative.com, please let me know.

Finally…

Today I see the Neurologist.

I am finally going to get the opinion of a BWC approved Physician. Please pray that BWC understands that even if part of my condition is degenerative disease, it was still aggravated by my job.

I will keep you all posted as to the outcome.

Back to ME

Filed Under (Random) by User ImageJoby on 26-11-2007

When I started this blog, I made a promise to myself that I was going to use it for me and only me. I have spent, for the most part, my time here doing just that… BUT…

I have also spent too much time with worrying how to monetize the site, or get the site traffic, or blah blah blah…

So now, the only thing I will talk about here on Joby’s Blog is ME. What I am doing. What my family is doing. How we are coping with my injury…

So, here we go… Back to ME!

First off Thanksgiving was great! We had a house-load of people and a lot of great food (Thanks MA!)

Secondly the party on Saturday… WOW what a time…Click to go to Photobucket to see more...

It was so great to see everyone. So many of us have changed yet we are all still the same :)

Finally the not so fun…

I received a letter on Friday saying I have been denied my workers comp (BWC). I have 14 days to appeal, but first I need to talk to my HR department and maybe a lawyer. Sometimes I just don’t get how people can have the jobs they have. I for one could not sit behind a desk and make assumptions about a persons health. I definitely could not tell someone how they got hurt if I was not there to see it…

Anyway I digress…

I see a neurosurgeon on Wednesday the 28th. Hopefully he can be of better help. BWC needs to be told that even if my problem is degenerative disease, it was still aggravated by repetitive actions at work.

More to come…
