Well, today was the first of who knows how many days I will be off work thanks to my shoulder.

Somewhere on or around the 27th of September I pinched a nerve. I did not think much of it although it hurts pretty badly at times. I thought I had just slept wrong or something.

Kim decided that I needed to see the Dr. so I went to the ER and they told me I had a pinched nerve, gave me some pills and sent me on my way telling me to see my Dr. soon.

I did. He gave me more pills, sent me for X-rays and told me to call in a few days.

Neither one said not to work. Neither one acted as if it were a big deal. So I went to work like I have been for the past couple weeks with pain in tow.

Well, being the honest person I am, I kinda mentioned the pain to the boss during call-ins… He said he would have to report it but did not think it would be a big deal

ERRRRR… thanks for playing….

HR insisted that I leave the store and not come back until I get a note releasing me at 100%.

Great!!! now I don’t get to train my replacement. I don’t get to say good-bye to the folks I have become friends with over the past 2 years. To top it off, Chris may have to wait for me to return to get his promotion.

N E Way,  the MRI is on Oct 24th at 7:15 am. Wish me luck…
