Where does the time go?

So I got a phone call today. I had promised to be the sound person for a wedding this weekend and had forgotten. They were at the church for rehearsal and I was sitting here playing on the internet as I seem to do with most of my free time.
Not much to do for it really only 7 songs to play with only one interruption. Should be a nice day for the happy couple.
I feel pretty old because of this though. See I took my first real job just out of High School working for a company that build pneumatic regulars for hospitals and such. Sounds high tech, but it was really just an assembly line type gig. Anywho I digress… one of my co-workers was/is the mother of the bride to be. Why do I feel old? That was 20 years ago and the girl was just a mere baby at that point… Now I am running sound for her wedding. Where does time go?
